Ok Mexican... Might be a good spot if you prefer tex-mex to authentic. I had tamales (shredded beef). They were hardly edible. They were over done and dry. In what I assume was an attempt to compensate for the dryness, they were served in an "enchiladas" style with a red sauce and CHEESE melted on top. This I could have possibly looked past had it been Oaxaca, but it was orange cheddar cheese. In all my years I can say that I've never eaten tamales with any kind of cheese on top... And outside of the U.S. I've never seen cheddar cheese served in Mexican cuisine, Needless to say... I didn't finish my meal. On the plus side of this establishment they served good chips and salsa (they even give you a refried bean dip), the bar is set up with TVs for watching the games, the staff was all friendly, and they seem to be able to accommodate large groups without slowing service to other patrons.

This is one of my favorite mexican restraunts in the magic valley. Always great service, great food, awesome flavors, and hide margaritas. Their prices are great, this is regular stop for us on a weekly basis.

Prior to their remodel last year, I found Garibaldi's Twin Falls location mediocre at best. Service and food were both a little iffy. Since the location's face-lift, the dining experience has been awesome. Out of our many, many recent visits, we've had one server who didn't impress (and in fact managed to annoy). And the food...man. Just great food. I have not been disappointed with a single item. Highly recommended.

This was a very interesting Mexican food experience. The quality left to be desired but the quantity was astronomical. The service was nice and knowledgeable when we got a seasoned waiter, but all the questions we asked the initial servers were answered with "ahh, let me go ask" for the most obvious questions (like how much does a drink cost). The Margaritas were horrible, they said they made "their own mix" implying that they would have high quality ingredients, but flavor wise they tasted just like the cheapest and very sweet mix. Overall, very nice people serving a lot of very subpar food.

Our first time going in since the renovations. My carne asada dinner was delicious. The guacamole was so good we ordered a second one.

It really isn't great or terrible. Really depends on the day. The margaritas are delicious. Don't like the fajitas, the chimichangas are good as well as burritos and enchiladas. but who could trust our judgement were just locals without all the fan fare of the people who come through our town. I wish I could live in the place they are all from where the gourmet food must flow like mana from heaven. It is an inexpensive mexican joint. Pretty much the same as the ones in Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Las Angeles, Spokane, Seattle, and the other places I travel to a lot. It's good food for a fair price don't care where your from.

WHAT IS IT WITH THIS TOWN?? I guess the locals think all these mediocre restaurants are realy good because they've lived here all their lives and never been anywhere or something. Garibaldi's - ate here once and that was enough. The chips and salsa were bland and tateless. The food was at our table 5 minutes after we ordered. TRANSLATION: everything was pre-made and they just assembled the plates and popped 'em in the microwave. I had the excact same items I get a LA FIESTA so I could make a direct comparrison. My verdict: these guys use lower quality ingredients. This is probably why its a few bucks cheaper but as always - you get what you pay for. Guys, honestly it is just not that good. Most of the food joints in this town couldnt compete in a large city. People just arent gonna open their wallets for mediocre food when there is a place up the road doing it better. My GF actually had a bit of an upset stomach latter that night. One bright spot: they have the Mexican cokes in the glass bottles with real cane sugar. I LOVE those but even that isnt enough to get me to come back.

Very disappointed ! I do not know if they didn't have the seafood ingredients there to make the dish but after a long wait they brought me basically a soup wit 4 clams 2 small crab claws with potato and carrot broth all for a mere 15.00 . I won't be back !

The name sounds like an Italian food spot, but here in Twin Falls Garabaldis has been a staple of mexican food for several years. Many of the people employed by the resaurant have worked here for many years. The food is very good and is deserving of 4 stars. The decor is very nice and they have an outdoor patio area that is a great place to eat, especially on a nice summer day. The service is OK, nothing spacial. Their inital platter of chips were not very tasty - in fact quite greasy. The salsa and bean dip was fine but the chips were a major letdown. The other letdown was the house margarita. Poor tequila and a sour mix that did not enhance the drink at all .... ( am I spoiled drinking in So Cal ?? ) A nice spot for lunch or dinner with an extensive menu. To bad all of the meal did not match the quality of the food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
